The Company adheres to and complies with “Know your customer” principles, which aim to prevent financial crime and money laundering through client identification and due diligence.

The Company reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a user in betpirat. We reserve the right to restrict the service, payment, or withdrawal until identity is sufficiently determined, or for any other reason in our sole discretion based on the legal framework.

We take a risk-based approach and perform strict due diligence checks and ongoing monitoring of all clients, customers, and transactions. As per the money laundering regulations, we utilize three stages of due diligence checks, depending on the risk, transaction, and customer type.

SDD — simplified due diligence is used in instances of extremely low-risk transactions that do not meet the required thresholds

CDD — customer due diligence is the standard for due diligence checks, used in most cases for verification and identification

EDD — Enhanced Due Diligence is used for high-risk customers, large transactions or special cases.

Guideline for the “KYC Process”

When is necessary: (depending from case to case)

1)Proof of Identity (ID)

To verify a client’s identity, the submitted ID must meet the following criteria:

The document includes the client’s signature.

The issuing country is not one of the restricted countries, which include: Austria, France and its territories, Germany, the Netherlands and its territories, Spain, the Union of Comoros, the United Kingdom, the USA and its territories, all FATF blacklisted countries, and any other jurisdictions prohibited by the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority.

The full name on the ID matches the client’s registered name.

The document is valid for at least the next three months (i.e., it does not expire within three months).

The ID holder is at least 18 years of age.

2)Proof of Residence

Clients must provide a document confirming their place of residence, which can be a bank statement or utility bill, and it must adhere to the following requirements:

The issuing country is not among the restricted countries listed above.

The full name on the document matches the client’s name and corresponds exactly with the name on the provided proof of ID.

The document has been issued within the last three months.

3)Selfie with ID

To complete the verification process, clients are required to submit a selfie holding their ID. The submission must meet these conditions:

The individual in the selfie is the same as the person on the ID document.

The ID shown in the selfie is the same as the one submitted for proof of identity. Ensure that the photograph and ID number match the original document.

4)In some cases, we require additional proof – proof of funds, in order to make sure the player uses their own money to gamble at our site.

Notes on the “KYC Process”

1)When the KYC process is unsuccessful then the reason is documented and a support ticket is created in the system. The ticket number along with an explanation is communicated back to the user.

2)Once all proper documents are in our possession then the account gets approved.

Usage Data

Usage data is collected automatically when you use the Services.

This data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, the pages you visit on our Service, the date and time of your visit, the duration of your visit, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic information.

When you access the Service via a mobile device, we may automatically collect certain information, including—but not limited to—the type of mobile device you are using, your device’s unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile browser you use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that your browser automatically sends whenever you visit our Service or access it through a mobile device.

The documents quoted hereinabove can be requested when player reaches certain sum of deposit/withdrawal and when we suspect player in fraudulent activity. We also review player betting activity to identify potential violations. In case we are not sure about the legality of the winning credited we contact provider and check those bets with them.

If evidence of suspicious transactions is discovered on the Customer’s account, cash deposits from questionable sources (for example, when details of the sender and the account holder do not match) and/or any actions with signs of fraud (including any refunds or cancellation of payments), the Company reserves the right to conduct an internal investigation, block or close the Customer’s account, cancel any payments and suspend operations on the account until the end of the official investigation. When making a decision the Company is guided by the provisions of the applicable law.

The Company has the right to request additional information about the Customer if the withdrawal method is different from the deposit method. The Company also reserves the right to block the Customer’s account during the investigation if the Customer refuses to provide additional information as requested by the Company.

Other legal requirements

The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Comply with a legal obligation

Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company

Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service

Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public

Protect against legal liability
